Denver Has Fallen Head Over Heels with Dior
Dior: From Paris to the World is the latest sensation from the Denver Art Museum. The

exhibit covers 70 year of the Dior’s legacy and global influence. Over 200 couture dresses, jewelry, accessories, drawings, photos, videos and move are on display.
Dior was founded by Christian Dior and sparked a revolution after World War II. The couture house focused on modern femininity allowing women to shine after the boxy, masculine silhouettes of the war reigned supreme. It was a first big step forward for woman to reclaim their feminity and enjoy clothing again. While the price point for these couture fashions were out of reach for most, it started a movement.
Christian Dior’s creations focused on accentuating the waist and bust, while softening the curves of a woman. With the creation of the accessories division Dior quickly became the first worldwide couture house.

Confession Alert: I love all things pop-culture and celebrity. So, when I had the opportunity to be up close and personal some of the most memorable gowns in history I just about screamed with joy. I clearly didn’t scream as I know better than to scream in a museum, but I couldn’t wipe the smile off of my face. So here are just a few of my favorite celebrity dresses; Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lawrence, Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman & Rhianna.
I want to take a moment to give kudos to the Denver Art Museum for curating such breathtaking exhibits such as Yves Saint Laurent and Cartier over the

past few years. When I start working with new clients looking to move to Denver they often ask me what my favorite part of living in Denver is. The quick easy answers for me are the proximity to the mountains, the melting pot of the restaurant scene and the people. Saying all of that, I absolutely love the culture scene in Denver. We hosted a pre-Broadway run of Frozen, are eagerly anticipating the second run of Hamilton and have been one of a handful of cities to host YSL, Cartier and now Dior!
So, when people ask me what my favorite part about living in Denver is? It’s the culture!
