Denver Days is on the Way!
Denver Days is an Opportunity for the Community to Get Together, Eat, Drink, and Celebrate the People in Your Neighborhood
Celebrating the Spirit of the Mile High City
The 6th year of the Mile High City’s Denver Days has arrived. This event started as a way to help the Denver community feel connected with each other, neighborhood by neighborhood. Additionally, Denver Days runs through August 12th this year, meaning there’s still plenty of time to sign up your neighborhood.
So what exactly ARE Denver Days? The city encourages block parties in various communities by doing the following:
- Waiving permit fees for street closures
- Providing street barricades to assist in closing off space for your neighborhood’s party
- Free advertising on the Denver Days social media accounts
The purpose of this yearly event is to encourage people to get to know their neighbors by hosting block parties, picnics, and service projects. Small, organic activities are encouraged. In addition, Denver Days hopes to invite residents to enjoy local parks.
In addition to community outreach and organized outdoor activities, Denver Days hopes to achieve the following:
- Neighbor to neighbor focus
- Service projects
- Neighborhood improvement
- Small business discounts for community members
Denver Days is the perfect excuse to enjoy the sunshine, meet friendly people, and focus on neighborhood improvement. You can find the full list of Denver Days events here. If it’s too late for you to plan a party for this year, there’s always next August!
