Public Invited to Weigh In On Reuter-Hess Reservoir Recreation Plans
The Rueter-Hess Reservoir Recreation Plan Moves Closer to Completion
After months of outreach, Parker is getting close to finalizing plans for the Rueter-Hess Reservoir Recreation Area. The RHR Recreation Authority is working directly with the public and Parker Water and Sanitation District to finalize the plans.
The public is invited to offer comments and ask questions on April 20th between 4-6pm at the Parker Water and Sanitation District Offices located at 18100 E. Woodman Drive. If you can’t make it in person on the 20th, the plan will be available online here from April 18-29 with an area designated for additional questions and feedback.
The final plan, projected budget and timeline are slated to be completed by mid-summer. The goal of the master plan is to create additional recreational opportunities while also preserving the water quality in the reservoir.
The RHR Recreation Authority consists of Douglas County, Lone Tree, Castle Pines, Castle Rock and Parker. In addition, it is working in directly with Parker Water and Sanitation District.
